  10. My friend has an A1200 which is showing purple WB screens (which should 
  11. be showing up grey).  Any other programs also have a purple tinge to them 
  12. while running.  He's just brought the machine to my place to try it on my 
  13. monitor and its still purple, so we know that the screen and the cable 
  14. aren't the problem.  We've also checked the palette and it was set up the 
  15. same as mine.

  17. There are also some strange bars showing up on the screen.  They usually 
  18. will show up over light colours and are light green.  Moving the mouse 
  19. pointer causes them to kind of fluctuate...

  21. For some temporary relief, we found that adjusting the GREEN level up in 
  22. the palette has made things the correct colour again.

  24. SO chances are its a hardware problem.

  26. What could it be?  Lisa chip?  Alice chip?  What else could cause the RGB to 
  27. screw up like that?
